Turns out, Mom has been right all along.

"You need to write this stuff down."  Over and over these are the words that my mother has been saying to me for the past 12 years.  "Write this stuff down, Mandy.  Or you won't remember all of the funny things that your kids say and do."  I used to think I would never forget these moments.  You know, the ones where your 3 year old says something funny or your 1 year old makes a mess that makes you want to cry?   I  know that after over a decade of doing this parenting thing there are way too many moments that I have failed to document and wished that I had.  And so, this blog's purpose is  for these write- them- down times, a place for me to organize these times and have them for safe keeping.  This blog is for my kids to have their personalities, their gifts, their humor, and their mischief documented.  It is my hope that one day they can read my postings and realize how much fun I had being their momma, how much laughter and craziness they bring my life, and how I wouldn't trade these years for anything.  I'm finally listening to my mother's advice and this is my space to write it all down.
